Dermapen skin needling
Dermapen’s advanced skin needling technology uses multiple needles to create channels in the skin. The needles stimulate natural collagen production, while the channels carry up to 80% more topical nutrients, allowing for treatment delivery deep into the skin’s fibroblasts to freed the underlying cells in the dermis and basal layer. This in turn simulates repair and faster resurfacing results.
Advanced skin needling can be as effective as ablative treatments such as Fraxel and laser resurfacing at treating fine lines and wrinkles, and for general skin tightening and rejuvenation Disposable needles eliminate risk of cross-contamination and adjustable needle depths from 0.5 to 2mm allows for the treatment of acne and deeper scarring. Numbing cream can be used but is not necessary prior to skin needling.
